Visitor Information

For a guide on what to do over the course of your visit to the Show, please see the Plan your Day page.

Avoiding the Bridges - for pram and wheelchair users

Our Bridge Avoidance wristbands will help you avoid the temporary bridges that expand over the 2 main roads and divide the Showground in to areas. Please request the Bridge Avoidance Wristband from security staff at each relevant Gate i.e. Gate C to access Gate J, and Gate H to access Gate E and vice versa for return journey – see Entry Map for guidance.

The Police request that visitors must use the pelican crossing when crossing West Quay Road between Gate C and Gate J.

Care of Children

Don’t forget to obtain a Kids wristband from security. This helps us reunite children quickly with their parents if they become lost. We follow a strict lost children’s policy. Please encourage young children to only speak to a Security Stewards or Show Information Hosts - they will be happy to help. Please ensure older children roaming the Show on their own or with friends, know where to meet parents and how to contact them at a set time at the end of the day.
