DEE CAFFARI RACING
In May 2006, Dee Caffari completed her first record setting

THE ELLEN MACARTHUR TRUST
Dame Ellen MacArthur first hit the headlines in 2001 when she
raced solo, non-stop around the world in the Vendée Globe when only
24 years old. In February 2005, she set a new solo, non-stop
round the world record aboard her 75ft trimaran of 71 days, 14
hours, 18 minutes and 33 seconds. She has since been awarded
numerous accolades, including a DBE from the Queen and a Légion
d’Honneur from French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Ellen’s most
recent challenge is the Ellen MacArthur Trust Skandia Round Britain
Voyage of Discovery which involves young people in recovery from
cancer sailing the 2,000 nautical miles around Britain.
