Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TICKET PURCHASES

  1. The Organiser is Southampton International Boat Show Limited, company number 1247541, Marine House, Thorpe Lea Road, Egham, Surrey, TW20 8BF. The Show is the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2009.
  2. Visitors will not be allowed admission to the Show without a valid ticket. Please check all ticket purchases as mistake cannot always be rectified. For all ticket queries please call Keith Prowse Ticketing on 0844 2090333.
  3. Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  4. Presentation of the ticket for Show admission constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions upon which the Organiser, is prepared to grant entry.
  5. Tickets can not be exchanged, or transferred, nor may they be resold for commercial gain. Refunds are not available on tickets.
  6. For public safety, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission and may conduct security searches.
  7. The Organiser reserve the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the Show due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control without obligation to refund or exchange tickets.
  8. The Organiser cannot accept financial or other responsibility for any loss or liability incurred by the public at the Show arising as a result of contracts entered into by visitors with any exhibitor or advice sought or obtained from any exhibitor, or any loss or damage to personal property brought into the Show.
  9. Visitors may be filmed or recorded for broadcast or security purposes during the Show.
  10. The distribution of leaflets or any other advertising material or the sale of articles anywhere within the Exhibition premises is strictly forbidden without prior written permission from the Organiser, which also reserves the right at its absolute discretion to confiscate such articles for infringement of this condition.

KIDS GO FREE

  1. Up to two children 15 and under can gain access to the Show with every adult presenting an entry ticket. This does not apply to premium tickets such as the Platinum or Ladies’ Day tickets.
  2. All children entering the Show must have a ticket. To obtain child tickets either order in advance via website or the call centre. Alternatively, cashiers at the main Show entrance will issue child tickets.

PLATINUM TICKET

  1. The terms and conditions for General Ticket Purchases apply – see above.
  2. The Platinum Ticket is valid only for the date and time shown on the printed ticket.
  3. This ticket permits Show entry and the retained ticket portion must be shown to board the pre-booked Power Boat experience (the latter is subject to weather conditions permitting and shipping movements).
  4. Children do not go free with this ticket, and there are no concessions or group discounts on this ticket. Children under the age of 8 are not permitted on the boat ride, subject to the Organiser’s discretion.
  5. All children 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult
  6. The ticket holder must arrive at the Platinum berths on the Show Marina at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled boat ride time detailed on the ticket. We regret we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
  7. A Guest wallet contains the day’s itinerary and information, a Platinum Pass card & lanyard. The Pass card is not valid on its own for Show entry or the boat ride.
  8. The ticket and Pass card must be shown to access the facilities of the dedicated Platinum Lounge.
  9. Showing the ticket and Pass together entitles the bearer to morning tea and coffee and patisseries, pre-luncheon drink, hot fork buffet luncheon, traditional afternoon tea, all to be consumed within the Platinum Lounge.
  10. There is a private pay bar.
  11. Appropriate clothing and shoes are advisable for the boat ride and for walking around the showground.
  12. Life saving equipment for the boat ride will be provided as necessary.
  13. There is no secure storage at the boat ride embarkation point and limited storage space on board the boat.

LADIES DAY TICKET

  1. Available only on Thursday 17th September 2009, and the terms and conditions for General Ticket Purchases apply – see above.
  2. The Ladies Day Ticket is valid only for the date and time shown on the printed ticket.
  3. This ticket permits Show entry and the retained ticket portion must be shown to board the pre-booked Power Boat experience (the latter is subject to weather conditions permitting and shipping movements).
  4. Children do not go free with this ticket, and there are no concessions or group discounts on this ticket.
  5. The ticket holder must arrive at the Platinum berths on the Show Marina at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled boat ride time detailed on the ticket. We regret we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
  6. A Guest wallet contains the day’s itinerary and information, a Ladies Day Pass card & lanyard. The Pass card is not valid on its own for Show entry or the boat ride.

  10. Appropriate clothing and shoes is advisable for the boat ride and for walking around the showground.
  11. Life saving equipment for the boat ride will be provided as necessary.
  12. There is no secure storage at the boat ride embarkation point and limited storage space on board the boat.
  13. Although Ladies Day is an event aimed to encourage ladies to attend the Show, the facilities offered are open to persons of all sexes and we cannot guarantee the number of ladies who will be present.

HOSPITALITY TICKET PACKAGES

  1. The terms and conditions for General Ticket Purchases apply – see above.
  2. Tickets provided with Hospitality Packages are valid only for the date and time shown on the printed ticket.
  3. A Guest wallet contains the day’s itinerary and information, a Show entry ticket, a Hospitality Pass card & lanyard. The Pass card is not valid on its own for Show entry or the boat ride.
  4. This ticket permits Show entry and the retained ticket portion must be shown to board the pre-booked Power Boat experience (the latter is subject to weather conditions permitting and shipping movements).
  5. Children do not go free with this ticket, and there are no concessions or group discounts on this ticket.
  6. The ticket holder must arrive at the Platinum berths on the Show Marina at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled boat ride time detailed on the ticket. We regret we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
  7. The ticket and Pass card must be shown to access the facilities of the dedicated Hospitality Lounge.
  8. Showing the ticket and Pass card together entitles the bearer to morning tea and coffee and patisseries, a seated 3 course luncheon with fine wines, full complimentary private bar in the afternoon, and traditional afternoon tea, all to be consumed within the nominated Hospitality Lounge and at times in itinerary.
  9. There is a private pay bar.
  10. Appropriate clothing and shoes are advisable for the boat ride and for walking around the showground.
  11. Life saving equipment for the boat ride will be provided as necessary.
  12. There is no secure storage at the boat ride embarkation point and limited storage space on board the boat.

£10 FOR 10 DAYS OFFER

  1. The terms and conditions for General Ticket Purchases apply – see above.
  2. Not available in conjunction with any other offer
  3. Valid on standard adult tickets only. Does not include Press & Public Preview Day (11th Sept) tickets, Platinum Ticket, or Ladies’ Day Ticket (17th Sept).
  4. Limited to 5 adult tickets per transaction.
  5. Calls charged at national rate.
  6. Offer ends at midnight on 12 June 2009 

3 FOR 2 PROMOTION

  2. Valid Show days of the 14th, 15th & 16th Sept only.
  3. Not available in conjunction with any other offer.
  4. Valid on standard adult tickets only. Does not include Press & Public Preview Day (11th Sept) tickets, Platinum Ticket, or Ladies Day Ticket (17th Sept).
  5. Calls charged at national rate.

£16.00 PUBLIC PREVIEW DAY OFFER

  6. The Champagne Ticket includes entry to the Show and one glass of champagne per ticket holder.
  7. Although children can come into the Show free with this ticket they will not receive a drinks voucher.

LADIES DAY : BEST DRESSED LADY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Ladies day is Sept 17th 2009
  2. The Southern Daily Echo may publish photos taken during the course of the day
  3. If you do not wish to enter the competition please let the judging panel know if they approach you.
  4. The judges decision is final, no correspondance will be entered in to.
  5. The winner will be awarded the following prize: A trip for four in a Jeanneau 42S to Banana Wharf Hamble. Lunch for four tom include champagne, two bottles of wine chosen by Delicious Dinnings Somelieier, 3 course lunch.
  6. No under 18s
  7. Prize to be taken within 6months of prize being awarded.
  8. Prize is being offered between Delicious Dining and Wise Catering.
  9. There are no alternative prizes. This prize has no cash value.
  10. Prize is non transferable
