Dee Caffari

Dee has secured a double World Record by becoming the first woman to sail solo, non-stop, around the World in both directions.

In May 2006, Dee Caffari completed her first World record setting voyage – a solo, non-stop lap of the planet against the prevailing winds and currents. In 2008/9, Dee took part in the gruelling Vendée Globe solo round the world race, crossing the finish line in 6th place on 16 February 2009, after 99 days at sea.

Dee will be at the PSP Southampton Boat Show making a guest appearance as part of the Record Breaker Stage Show on Press & Public Preview Day at the 13.45 Show, and on Ladies Day at 11.45, 13.45 and 16.00 her last appearances will be on Saturday 19th of September at 13.45 and 16.00. Come along to Solent Park and be part of a World Record attempt of the most amount of people to send a semaphore message.
