Geoff Holt

Geoff Holt  has had an amazing life, from antiques historian to world famous sailor via a horrific accident and a motorized wheelchair, Geoff provides inspiration wherever he goes.

On Wednesday 5th September 2007, quadriplegic yachtsman Geoff Holt, paralysed from the chest down, returned home to become the first disabled sailor to sail single-handed around Great Britain. Achieving his Personal Everest, which took 109 days to complete, confirmed Geoff as one of the world's foremost disabled yachtsmen and saw him sail into the record books as the only disabled person in history to sail single handed around the UK. He had sailed 1,445 miles and visited 51 destinations during one of the worst summers in history.

Geoff will be at the PSP Southampton Boat Show making guest appearances as part of the Record Breaker Stage Show on Tuesday 15th at 11.45, Wednesday 16th 11.45 and Sunday 20th 13.45. Geoff will be at the Show just prior to his next challenge when he sets off to sail the Atlantic Ocean unassisted in a custom-built cruising catamaran.

We wish Geoff all the best of luck.
