The clinic will be aimed at a wide audience. It is mainly aimed at skippers of sailing vessels with an auxiliary engine but will also be of interest to those who drive motor cruisers. We all regularly see otherwise very competent and accomplished people making a real hash of coming alongside or picking up a mooring buoy. This short clinic will aim to remind people of the need to prepare and plan every manoeuvre so that it is carried out in a safe and seamanlike like way. We will have a quick look at the principles of handling in a confined space and how to apply them.
