Unfortunately Torpedalo will not be able to make the Show, as the build has been delayed.  However, you can still hear the Torpedalo team talking about their plans on Monday 19th September at 1325.

In December 2011, Mark Byass and Mike Sayer will attempt to propel a pedal-powered boat of their own design 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, to raise money for charity and to try to set a new world record. The entirely carbon fibre boat, called “Torpedalo”, has been engineered by the pair from scratch. Their talk will detail their adventure, and what it’s taken to design and build the most advanced human-powered boat in the world.
