Royal Yachting Association

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is the national governing body for dinghy, motor and sail cruising, all forms of sail racing, RIBs and sportsboats, windsurfing and personal watercraft, and is a leading representative body for inland waterways cruising in the UK.

We are responsible for one of the UK’s most successful Olympic medal winning sports. Our coaching and development schemes actively support our country’s top sailors, from talented juniors to Olympic and World Champions.

Head to the RYA stand (J147) for all the knowledge and information you need to make the most of your time on the water. Throughout the show, RYA experts will be on hand to share their knowledge and advice.

From RYA Yachtmaster® to your first flights in foiling or winging, if you’re looking to try something new or develop your skills, we can help to find the right course for you.

The RYA exists to get more people into boating and watersports activities, promote safe boating practices and raise the standards of yachting and sailing through its network of more than 2,200 RYA recognised training centres in more than 58 countries, and more than 1,500 RYA affiliated clubs.
