Dufour Yachts are back with a bang at Southampton Boat Show, presenting five yachts including the fabulous new Dufour 470 making its UK show debut.
The Dufour 470 introduces a new look and new approach, whilst maintaining Dufour’s iconic blend of elegance, features and performance that epitomizes this contemporary brand.
The clean, impressive lines and reverse chamfer topsides create a striking profile and the wide hull shape is designed for performance and stability in a wide range of sailing conditions.
With a choice of three yachts in one model, the Dufour 470 can be easily set up to suit your particular type of sailing and lifestyle afloat:
The Easy version has a clean, simplified layout, intended for owners and charter users, with sheeting and control lines led to an aft winch, at the back of the coaming.
The Ocean model is aimed at owners wanting a more traditional layout, with the halyards and control lines led to the coach roof and the sheets led to the helm station.
The Performance version sports six winches, two each for main, genoa and pit, enabling constant sail trimming, and is aimed at thrill loving sailor and regatta racer.
Above decks living area:
- step aboard the electronically operated, large aft bathing platform and three wide
- steps up to the large cockpit area
- exterior galley with barbeque and sink sits between the twin helm stations
- generous cockpit table seats up to eight guests
- ample deck storage is available via cockpit lockers
- additional forward and aft stowage
- plenty of seating and the option for adding a large sunbed on the aft deck
Helm station:
- dedicated location for a complete range of navigation instruments
