Bringing Electric Solutions to Southampton Boat Show
Since the announcement of the partnership between MIT and Engines Plus at the beginning of 2022, Engines Plus has been representing an industry-leading range of fully electric propulsion solutions from Bellmarine in the leisure marine market. With unsurpassed knowledge of diesel generators, Engines Plus has combined this knowledge with Bellmarine electric propulsion technology to bring cost-effective and technologically advanced series hybrid solutions and fully electric motor technology to market.
Fully interactive electric inboard
Following a recent visit to Italy, where Hedley Beavis, Managing Director and Dave Swain, Applications Engineer from Engines Plus Ltd, along with John Logue, Managing Director MIT, spent time with Bellmarine and their engineering team to take part in some extensive product training, Engines Plus will now display a fully interactive Drivemaster inboard demo unit at Southampton Boat Show.
Cost-effective electric solutions on stand E008
On stand E008, visitors can feel the power of electric propulsion for themselves by taking control of a fully electric inboard electric motor. The interactive and immersive unit allows users to familiarise themselves with the silent and vibration-free experience of electric propulsion, with an array of models designed to suit the breadth of leisure marine vessels.
From outboards, inboards and sail drives to series hybrid, the Engines Plus team of experts will be on hand to discuss any electric and hybrid questions. Their expert knowledge will guide users on how to make the transition from traditional diesel drive arrays to a greener, cost-effective, environmentally friendly solution to enjoying our waterways.
