First launched in 1919 as a herring lugger, Morgenster worked as a fishing vessel for more than 50 years. After a few rough years in sport and piracy, she was left in a terrible state of repair. In 2008, she was fully restored and blessed into the sailing world again – proving to be the fast, easy to handle, and overall fine vessel that we always knew she was.
