Traveling to the Show
We
recommend visitors travel to the show by public transport.
The PSP Southampton Boat Show is located around Mayflower
Park/Town Quay, Southampton (Postcode SO15 1HJ).
Please be aware that this year there are no Park And Ride
facilities to the Show. We apologise for this inconvenience, but
hope the following information will help to assist in making
alternative arrangements.
A free overview Entry Map of the Show, features and facilities
will be available for you to pick up at the Entrance and throughout
the Show ground.
Bus
Southampton Main Bus Station is a 5 minutes walk from the main
Show entrance. The closest bus stops to the Showground are in the
Bargate/High Street/Town Quay area. There is a free 'City Link' bus
that runs between Southampton Central train station and Town Quay
which is near Bugle Street every 15 minutes. Further information

Rail
Southampton Central is the closet mainline station. Please use
platform 4 exit to walk to the Boat Show. It’s a 10 min walk to the
Showground or you can take the free City Link bus to the Town Quay.

Car
There are many ways to get to the Show by car. There are several
route planners that can be used to get you to the Show in the
quickest and most accurate way. We suggest:

There are 10,000 parking spaces throughout the city centre both
in public and privately owned car parks. For Council owned car
parks, download their useful leaflet Parking Southampton from
www.southampton.gov.uk/Transport/Parking.

Car parking also exists at Hythe, where you can buy your ticket
and ferry passage to the Show – see below.
Coaches
There is limited on-street parking at Blechynden Terrace. Drop
off and pick up points are available in Harbour Parade and by prior
arrangement at the National Express Coach Station.
Ferry
For visitors from the Isle of Wight, or Hythe both Red Funnel
Ferries and Hythe Ferry operate from Town Quay, Southampton which
is a 5 minutes walk from the show ground. Visitors using either
ferry company will also be able to buy their show entry tickets at

Air
Southampton International Airport website confirms various ways
to get to the Show and other destinations www.southamptonairport.com Take
a train from the airport station to Southampton central, and the
show is a 10min walk.
Or, take one of 2 bus services from the airport to Southampton
City Centre namely Unilink and First Bus. The Southampton Boat Show
Show is located 5 mins walk from Town Quay or the West Quay
shopping centre.

Information for Pram and Wheelchair Users
Our Bridge Avoidance wristbands will help you avoid the
temporary bridges that expand over the 2 main roads and divide the
Showground in to areas. Please request the Bridge Avoidance
Wristband from security staff at each relevant Gate i.e. Gate C to
access Gate J, and Gate H to access Gate E and vice versa for
return journey – see Entry Map for guidance.
The Police request that visitors must use the pelican crossing
when crossing West Quay Road between Gate C and Gate J.
