Berthon International are delighted to represent both Pearl Yachts and Windy Scandinavia at BOATS2020 and visitors will be able to see two UK debuts as the Pearl Yachts 62 and the Windy 37 Shamal joining the line-up.
UK debut of the Pearl 62
The Pearl Yachts latest new model boasts contemporary design, cutting edge technology, enhanced performance and versatility. The new Pearl 62 has once again been created by the successful collaboration between award-winning naval architect Bill Dixon and world-renowned interior designer Kelly Hoppen, MBE, resulting in a yacht built for living the best of life at sea. The spacious flybridge is complete with a covered dining area, bar and comfortable seating, while on the main deck forward, large sun pads create the perfect set up for lazy days on the water.
The Pearl 62 is also one of the only yachts in class to offer four luxurious cabins, plus the option of an additional crew cabin or garage.
Looking forward to a boat show close to home, Iain Smallridge, Pearl Yachts’ Managing Director states: “As a British shipbuilder, we’re proud to help showcase boating locally. This year’s edition of BOATS2020 is particularly special, marking the first time that we have been able to come together as a community in a long time. Despite the challenges presented over the past few months, the Pearl Yachts team has continued to work hard, with a successful summer season and four new Pearl yachts currently under construction. With comprehensive health and safety measures in place at this year’s show, we are excited to bring our latest model, the Pearl 62, to Southampton and look forward to connecting with clients, industry peers and yachting enthusiasts once again.”
Latest release from Windy Scandinavia
Berthon International will also be bringing to BOATS2020 the Windy 37 Shamal. This is the latest release from Windy Scandinavia and their first production collaboration with world renowned super yacht designer Espen Øino. The 37 embodies the brands core DNA and delivers legendary Scandinavian building quality and first-class handling.
Conceived primarily as a day boat, the Windy 37 Shamal has a spacious two cabin arrangement. There is a large forward cabin with a double bed and a roomy center cabin with twin beds.
The 37 Shamal’s deep, safe cockpit is both social and versatile. It has a large aft sun pad with a movable backrest and it can be easily protected by her canopy system or bimini top.
The health, safety and security of visitors is the number one priority during the Show. British Marine, the show organiser, is working hard to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves in a safe and
happy environment. As such BOATS2020 is an outdoor event and has been specially developed to include all the necessary COVID-19 secure measures expected.
The show will be open between the 11th – 20th September 2020. Tickets must be pre-booked here. Tickets for Saturday 12th September have now sold out.
