We’re excited to welcome you to the Southampton International Boat Show. Now going in to our 56th year, we know the city quite well! Take a look at our top tips for getting to and around the show below. Don’t forget to download the show map so that you can find your way round once you have arrived.

Travelling to the show…

If you’re planning to travel by road to the show please follow the AA road signs instead of your Sat Nav to direct you to the Show. These are located on the motorways M3, M27, M271 and main arterial roads into Southampton.

The postcode for the Show is SO14 2AN and will take you to the area of the show entrance.

Parking

There are 4,000 parking spaces split between the West Quay Podium and multi-storey which are a 5 minutes walk from the Show entrance https://www.west-quay.co.uk/visitor-info/parking. These include family, disabled and motorcycle parking bays. Debit and credit cards are accepted. For more information visit Southampton City Council website here

The show entrance is only a five-minute walk from Southampton’s main bus station. The closest bus stops to the show are in the Bargate/High Street/Town Quay area. A ‘CityLink’ bus costing £1 runs between Southampton Central train station and Town Quay (near Bugle Street) every 15 minutes. The closest mainline railway station to the Show is Southampton Central. Use the exit from the station on platform 4 to get to the boat show. It is only a short walk to the show, or you can take the CityLink bus to Town Quay which stops at West Quay just steps from the show’s main entrance.

Walk east towards Western Esplanade/A3024 (472 ft)
Turn left onto Western Esplanade/A3024 (0.1 mi)
Turn right onto Western Esplanade (0.1 mi)
Turn left towards Portland Terrace (279 ft)
Turn right onto Portland Terrace (0.2 mi)
Turn right an go down the stairs to show entrance

Directions from station:

For visitors travelling form the Isle of Wight, Red Funnel Ferries operate a Red Jet passenger service from Town Quay, Southampton which is a 5-minute walk from the show. Vehicle ferry options are also available and both of these can be booked using the widget below.

Southampton Airport is just a twenty minute drive from the Show and welcomes flights from more than 40 destinations across the UK and mainland Europe. Alternatively you can catch the train from Southampton Airport Parkway Station to Southampton town centre or take the U1C bus into town.
