The show opens daily at 10am and closes at 6pm, except Fridays and Saturdays when the Shipyard remains open until 9pm, and the last Sunday when the show closes at 4.30pm. On Friday’s and Saturdays there will be food, drinks, and live music available at the Shipyard until the show closes at 9pm.

Unfortunately, there are no luggage storage facilities available at the show. However, guests with Premium tickets can make use of the cloakroom located within the Waterside Lounge.

Yes. Local residents aged 66+ living in SO14–SO19 postcodes can attend free with a Local Senior Citizen Ticket. Discounted tickets are also available for NHS and emergency services staff, over 60s, students, military personnel, disabled visitors and local residents.

There is a no re-entry policy for the Southampton International Boat Show.

Try-a-Boat, the Watersports Lake and the Andark Dive Tank can be booked onsite at the show – there’s no pre-booking, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot. Check the show map for booking locations, and if you’re taking the plunge in the Dive Tank, don’t forget to bring a towel!

All dogs (including guide dogs) are permitted to access into the show. However, access onto the show Marina, New Wave Hall and catering areas will be significantly restricted at busy times (subject to the absolute discretion of the security team) and there are limited facilities available for your dog at the show.

You can wear any shoes you would like, but we recommend comfortable shoes (deck shoes are ideal, if you have them). You may be required to remove or cover your shoes when viewing boats at the Southampton International Boat Show.

Yes, children under 15 can attend for free but must still have a valid ticket. All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, the most cost-effective way to buy your show ticket is from our website in advance of your visit. Tickets can be purchased securely from here and it will take just a few minutes. Alternatively, you can purchase your ticket at the gate for an increased price.
