Building on the success of the 41, Dufour collaborated with Felci Yachts for the hull design, maintaining tradition while introducing Luca Ardizio to craft a luxurious and spacious interior. On the water, the Dufour 44 offers precise, easy handling and impressive performance, thanks to extended hull chines that enable a flatter sail and a more stable ride, ensuring increased comfort for all onboard.
The latest hull design provides increased volume, immediately noticeable once you step below decks, offering more spacious and functional interior spaces.
Exterior Highlights
A standout feature of the 44 is dual access to the cockpit via the bathing platform, which enhances usability. Upon stepping onboard from the transom, you’ll be greeted by a generous cockpit space designed for comfort and socialising. The integrated Gas BBQ/Plancha, discreetly located under the rear seats, extends the cockpit area further when the bathing platform is lowered, creating an ideal spot for outdoor cooking and entertaining.
The wider beam extends forward and aft, creating broad side decks and a spacious, uncluttered foredeck—easy to navigate and free of lines, tracks, and halyards. Main sail controls are conveniently located near the helm, operated from two aft winches, with ample space in front of the helm station for handling sails and side deck access. Instrument pods at each helm offer solid grab handles for safety at sea. The redesigned cockpit table is robust, practical, and offers excellent storage solutions.
Thanks to the low goose neck position, reefing and sail stowing are simplified, making sail management effortless.
Interior Highlights
Available in four layouts with either three or four cabins, and two galley configurations, the saloon is designed to maximise space while creating a cozy, inviting environment. A new hexagonal table comfortably seats up to ten, with movable stools that stow neatly on the starboard side when not in use.
