LAND UN-LOCKED: RESIDENTS OF COTON IN THE ELMS, A VILLAGE SITUATED FURTHEST FROM COASTAL WATERS ARE INVITED TO BE GUESTS AT THE BOAT SHOW

As part of this year’s theme of accessibility & inclusivity, residents from Coton in the Elms, which is officially located furthest from coastal waters, are cordially invited to the Southampton International Boat Show, powered by Borrow A Boat, so they can experience life on the water.

At 70 miles in-land, Coton in the Elms, Derbyshire, is officially the furthest UK human settlement from coastal waters. All residents with a DE12 post code are being offered the chance to experience a trip to the sea for themselves as guests of the Boat Show.

Residents of the DE12 postcode area just need to book a ticket online and bring a proof of address to show upon arrival at the event. This offer is valid any day for 1 standard ticket, Monday 16-Thursday 19 September 2019. Up to 2 children aged under 15 can go in with each adult ticket.
