Energy saving cooker from GN Espace features in Southampton Boat Show’s inaugural Environmental Innovation Showcase
GN Espace is very proud to have been selected to show the OceanChef 3, one of our advanced energy saving cookers, at the 2022 Southampton Boat Show’s new Environmental Innovation Showcase in this, its inaugural year. The specialist galley equipment manufacturer has selected the OceanChef 3, an electric induction hob and multifunction combo, to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
Located in Ocean Hall, GN Espace joins an exhibit that is shining a spotlight on the best of the marine industry’s new environmental products, highlighting to consumers how the industry is becoming greener and cleaner and what they can do to become a more environmentally conscious boater.
The OceanChef 3 cooker is built in marine grade stainless steel to the highest standards of craftsmanship and incorporates the technology to take advantage of the greatest energy efficiency available to onboard electric cooking. Its energy management system conserves consumption to a limit of 4.9kW, less than half the consumption needed by an equivalent domestic induction hob and electric oven.
