My Story
My journey into resort wear began during one of the most uncertain times of my life—losing a decade-old business on my 40th birthday, the same day South Africa went into lockdown. What followed was survival, reflection, and rediscovery.
Through meditation and soul-searching, I reconnected with what truly inspires me: creativity, beauty, and meaning. That’s when my first design was born—BLISS, a silk scarf and silk kaftan covered in uplifting words that helped carry me through.
Resort wear became my canvas for joy and transformation. Influenced by my time in the South of France, Monaco, and Italy, and deeply rooted in my African heritage, every piece blends elegance with emotional depth.
But one design kept calling to me—the Bushwillow seed. Native to the African bushveld, this delicate four-winged form symbolizes both fragility and resilience. It took four years to perfect its form in jewelry, capturing the spirit of the wild and the strength within us all.
