The Ocean Conservation Trust is a charity of Ocean optimists taking action to protect and restore nature for a thriving Ocean. We exist to restore and protect the Ocean, centred around people and positive action, our focus is on pro-Ocean behaviour and habitat restoration.
Blue Meadows is Ocean Conservation Trust’s holistic approach to seagrass protection, regeneration and restoration at scale. The goal is to protect the seagrass we already have, and over the longer-term restore the seagrass we have lost. A vital arm of Blue Meadows is our engagement work – working to connect communities with their local seagrass meadows and empower them to take action for its protection. At Southampton Boat Show 2025, we aim to spread awareness of seagrass meadows, their importance, locations and how individuals can help.
