One of the most exciting young offshore racing talents outside France, Tim first made his mark in 2020 when, aged 15, he sailed solo Round Britain, to widespread acclaim in yachting , local and national media:
“Rising Teenage Star” – Yachting Monthly
“Someone to watch” – BBC South Today
“I’m sure we’re going to hear more of you” – Sir Robin Knox-Johnston
Well…Sir Robin was right!
Fast forward to 2023 and aged 18, weeks after sitting his A’ levels, Timothy successfully finished his first professional solo offshore race in the French Figaro 3 class, a highly competitive fleet, renowned for creating the sailing legends of the future.
Tim is seeking sponsorship for his 2024 campaign to compete in the full Figaro 3 racing series, culminating in the Solitaire du Figaro
2000nm. Solo. One of sailing’s most gruelling races.
Pushing sailors to their limits of physical and mental endurance.
Figaro 3: One design. Foiling. Built for maximum performance.
Creating an intensity where results are based solely on the ability of the sailor, and finishes often separated by seconds
Every Vendée Globe winner since 1992 has previously completed the Solitaire du Figaro.
