KIDS ACTIVITIES

Junior Voyagers Ahoy!

There was plenty to explore for young adventurers at our 2025 show!

Lego Maritime Project

Located in the New Wave Hall, the LEGO Maritime Project, created by Stephen G Shaw, inspired and educated young people about careers in the maritime sector. Participants explored a LEGO model display and took part in fun challenges, including designing a dream boat and coding an autonomous vessel.

Stella the Sea Cow

Kids met Stella the Sea Cow, a LEGO sculpture of the extinct Steller’s Sea Cow, which disappeared in 1788, just 30 years after its discovery. Built by Iconic Bricks from over 92,000 LEGO pieces, it took four builders nearly 500 hours to create.

Marina the Mermaid

Marina the Mermaid from the Ocean Conservation Trust revealed ocean treasures in the Kids Play Zone on both Saturdays and Sundays of the 2025 show.

Captain Ted Funnel

Captain Ted Funnel, the beloved mascot of our partner Red Funnel, appeared on Sunday 21st September!

Toot and Boots

Royal Navy & Marine Charity (RNRMC) mascots Toots and Boots brought smiles to families across both weekends and during school visit days.

TeamO Treasure Hunt

The TeamO Trail was an exciting and interactive competition that ran daily throughout the event, with fantastic prizes given out to the winners.
