Lego Maritime Project
Located in the New Wave Hall, the LEGO Maritime Project, created by Stephen G Shaw, is a hands-on simulation designed to inspire young people about careers in the maritime sector. Participants can explore a LEGO model display and take part in fun challenges, including designing a dream boat and coding an autonomous vessel.
Stella the Sea Cow
Meet Stella the Sea Cow, a LEGO sculpture of the extinct Steller’s Sea Cow, which disappeared in 1788, just 30 years after its discovery. Built by Iconic Bricks from over 92,000 LEGO pieces, it took four builders nearly 500 hours to create.
Marina the Mermaid
Bring some magic to your Boat Show visit with Marina the Mermaid from the Ocean Conservation Trust, showing ocean treasures in the Kids Play Zone on both Saturdays and Sundays from 12–2PM. At 12:30 and 1:30, she’ll bring her favourite story to life, exploring the ocean and meeting magical sea creatures – perfect for children under 5.
