Lymington, UK – Electric Outboard, exclusive UK distributor for the Italian designed and manufactured Mitek range of electric motors, will be showcasing the one-of-a-kind Revolve electric sterndrive at the Southampton International Boat Show on stand F027 from the 13th to 22nd September 2024.
Demonstrating Mitek’s revolutionary design at its very best, Revolve is the only sterndrive on the market that is able to rotate on its own axis to easily switch from ON mode, with the propeller immersed and ready for action, to OFF mode, where the propeller retracts, reducing its dimensions to almost zero.
Revolve is the first electric motor equipped with this patented system that offers an innovative and elegant solution to completely eliminate the problem of mounting, dismounting and storing traditional outboard motors.
The engine’s rotation mechanism, paralleling the axis, ensures that it remains installed and ready for immediate use, saving not only time and effort but also making it safer and easier for all boaters from seasoned sailors to complete beginners.
