The new units deliver a 15% improvement in efficiency thanks to an optimised evaporator and larger seawater exchanger, while retaining the same compact footprint of the earlier models – making upgrades and installations straightforward.

Alongside the efficiency gains, these units retain the standout features of the previous generation:

• No inrush current at start-up (2A max)
• Use just 155-200W max in ECO mode
• Available in 12V, 24V & 48V
• Silent operation for maximum onboard comfort
• Reverse cycle heat for year-round performance

At the same time, Frigomar has also launched its new 12V DC powered High Efficiency models, currently available in 7,000 BTU and 10,000 BTU,. With this addition the Frigomar SCU range is now available in 230VAC, 115VAC, 12VDC, 24VDC and 48VDC offering flexible power options for boat owners seeking efficient, quiet climate control without compromise.
