The rugged and durable trolling motor is built to endure harsh saltwater and freshwater environments, while delivering 50 pounds of thrust to move anglers from spot to spot all day long.
The company’s largest Force Kraken 110-inch trolling motor, ideal for coastal boats like large centre consoles, is also on the stand, along with the new ECHOMAP Ultra 2 chartplotter, designed for inland and nearshore anglers that demand larger, sharper display with premium mapping and exceptional sonar capabilities.
Southampton Boat Show attendees can also explore Garmin’s Apollo audio range. Launched in June and designed specifically for marine environments, Apollo RA800 stereo brings reimagined design and powerful audio performance to boaters everywhere. With ground-braking audio technology, the Fusion Apollo RA800 is designed to amplify time spent on the water with a built-in DAB tuner, allowing for high quality digital radio streaming and stereo grouping to share audio sources across different listening zones on the boat.
For the visitors that want to discover the most advanced purpose-built smartwatch built for mariners, Garmin will also show its latest and ultimate nautical smartwatch, quatix 8. Built to withstand the toughest conditions without sacrificing style, the smartwatch has been tested to U.S. military standards for thermal and shock resistance and includes a new ambient light sensor, ensuring the screen is easy to read even in harsh sunlight. What’s more, the built-in LED flashlight provides convenient illumination on the boat or at home with multiple light modes and a red safety light to help preserve night vision.
