New CUBE watermaker unveiled at the Cannes Boat Show
Introducing the latest Schenker watermaker range, the QUBE.
The QUBE concept is similar to the highly successful Zen line (absence of commercial components, clean and ultra-compact design, quiet operation, zero vibrations , simplicity, lightness), but the machine’s volume is “square-shaped” unlike the “flat-shaped” Zen range.
It can therefore be said that the QUBE, compared to the Zen, is a “differently compact” watermaker.
This stylistic exercise, however, is not an end in itself, but is aimed at meeting installation needs where the available space on the vessel is more suitable for installing a “squared” watermaker.
With this new range, Schenker has created a highly functional product, characterized by a contemporary and captivating design. It is an ideal representation of the “Made in Italy” product, where technology merges with design, in line with the high-tech philosophy of the new boats.
The technological innovations of QUBE, however, do not stop at design alone. The pulsing heart of QUBE is a latest-generation energy recovery system that achieves extremely high efficiency, minimal electricity consumption, and direct battery power supply.
QUBE also uses extremely quiet and reliable brushless electric motors. A sophisticated feedback control system automatically adjusts the engine speed while maintaining a constant system operating pressure.
The Water maker therefore always operates under constant and ideal conditions, regardless of external factors such as water temperature, salinity, and power supply voltage. The system also reduces the fresh water flow rate used during flushing by 50%.
The launch range of this new product consists of two models: the “QUBE 65” with a production of 65 litres/h, available in 12-24V power supply, and a consumption of 300 watts, and the “QUBE 100” with a production of 100 litres/h, available in 12-24-230V power supply, and a consumption of 400 watts.
