Our Stand H522 is more than just a meeting point; it’s a hub of knowledge, hosted by our members and staff who are as passionate about sharing their knowledge as they are about being on the water.

The CA’s specialised Sections connect you with like-minded cruisers. Visit our Stand H522 to get expert tips, with on-stand sessions hosted by the Channel, Midlands, Motorboat and Mediterranean Sections. Our dedicated volunteers will be on hand from 1100-1700 hrs to share their first-hand knowledge, answer your questions and help you plan your next cruising adventure. Members and non-members are invited to our special Section Days:

Saturday 20 September – Channel Section Day

Our Channel Section team will share information on crossing The Channel and cruising its waters, including:

• Why France: top destinations and hidden gems, warm welcome, cheaper marinas with more visitor berths, plenty of anchoring spots, great food and excellent wine!
• Stress-free prep: border paperwork, boat checks and must-have kit.
• Planning: weather windows, passage planning, navigation and arrival tips.
• Rallies: discover the annual members’ cruise in company rally to France.

Plus, visit on Channel Section Day for a chance to win a copy of Imray’s ‘Channel Islands, Cherbourg Peninsula and North Brittany’ pilot book.

Wednesday 24 September – Midlands Section Day

Meet our new Midlands Section, based at Rutland Sailing Club, who will organise events, socials and information sharing for local members.

Thursday 25 September – Motorboat Section Day

Delve into all aspects of motor boating, and tap into first-hand knowledge and experiences on:

• Planning a trip? Get insights on navigation, planning a channel crossing or cruising the inland and coastal waters of Europe
• New to motorboating? Ask us about buying your first boat or transitioning from sail to power.
• Need advice? From weather planning to boat maintenance and safety.

Saturday 27 September – Mediterranean Section Day

Discover the CA’s vibrant community for those cruising or aspiring to cruise in the Mediterranean. Our team has a wealth of experience to tap into, including the latest updates on Greek regulations. Find out about the vast cruising knowledge available to members, as well as our events, socials and annual two-day Seminar. Whether you are a Med veteran or dreaming of your first trip – drop by for a chat.
