The 2024 Superyacht UK (SYUK) Young Designer Competition delivered a thrilling showcase of talent, creativity, and future innovation. Hosted at the Southampton International Boat Show (16-18 September), this year’s competition, brought together the next generation of yacht designers to compete for top honours in two categories: the Master’s and 2nd / 3rd year divisions.
In collaboration with Sunseeker, Princess, Lami Sports & Events, Thorne Yacht Design, Olesinski, Cockwells, and Oyster, the event concluded on Wednesday, September 18, after two days of intensive effort. The finale featured a dazzling showcase of design ingenuity as the winners were announced on the Foredeck Stage, celebrating those who are set to shape the future of yacht design.
