The new Clipper RX distils 30 years of ocean racing experience into a yacht designed to deliver the ultimate race experience.
Developed by the Clipper Race team, led by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, in partnership with naval architects Fish Composites and renowned racing yacht designer Nigel Irens, the Clipper RX combines innovative design with exceptional performance. Its distinctive bow, smooth hull lines and integrated safety features create a fast, capable and seaworthy 72-foot ocean racing yacht.
Built on three decades of racing experience, every design feature has been carefully considered to enhance crew safety, performance and life on board in the demanding conditions of the Clipper Race.
The new Clipper RX fleet makes its debut in the Clipper 2027-28 Race, following an extensive programme of testing, rig tuning and crew training.
