Hello, hello!
We’re Arvor Life – a Cornwall-based outdoor lifestyle brand founded by Charlotte, a conservationist inspired by wild places, cold water, salty air and a love for our oceans… And perhaps a funny pun or two!
We create sustainable clothing, accessories and gifts for people who would rather be outside — from wild swimmers and sailors to surfers, walkers and everyday ocean lovers.
But we wanted to do more than make clothing. We see the plastic pollution on our beaches every day and we knew we wanted to make a difference. So we decided to make our business slightly different…
Every Arvor Life purchase helps fund the removal of ocean-bound waste internationally to reduce pollution in plastic hotspots globally.
It also funds the beach cleans and community events we run in Cornwall too. Our latest Waste to Wonder event, brought 67 people together to remove 14.65kg of waste from the beach at Dollar Cove. Read more about this on our socials.
Now we love beach cleaning and collecting beach waste is great right?! BUT where does it go? Landfill was always going to be our last resort as we don’t want to perpetuate a problem.
So we found brilliant partners to work with in Cornwall including One Blue Eye and Waterhaul to recycle as much as we can. Turning the waste collected on our beach cleans into something useful again.
We also partner with other organisations such as CleanHub, Surfers Against Sewage, National Trust and others to help educate, raise awareness and protect our oceans for our wildlife, water-lovers and future generations.
At the Southampton International Boat Show, you’ll find a mix of ocean-inspired organic and recycled clothing (including some cheeky slogans!), sunglasses, hats, bags, jewellery, recycled-plastic products and plenty of gifts for people who give a crab about our oceans.
