Fogstar is a UK-designed and UK-supported range of LiFePO4 house batteries for 12V and 24V boats. Every Drift Gen 2 battery is built on Grade A EVE prismatic cells with a 300A smart BMS, built-in heating and a 10-year warranty.
The Gen 2 range runs from 230Ah to 628Ah at 12V, with 230Ah and 300Ah models at 24V. 12V units link up to 16 in parallel or 4 in series, for larger banks or 48V systems.
Fogstar Drift Gen 2 LiFePO4 house batteries
Lithium capacity for the service bank, with the balancing, heating and monitoring already inside the case:
- 300A smart BMS with a 2A active balancer built in, engaging whenever cells drift more than 0.015V apart
- 0.2A shunt accuracy for state of charge you can trust at the panel or on your phone
- Built-in heating that switches on automatically between 0°C and 10°C, powered by the incoming charge rather than the battery itself, so cold-weather charging doesn’t cost you capacity
- Victron-ready over CAN via Cerbo GX, plus Bluetooth monitoring of voltage, current, state of charge and temperature in the Fogstar Drift app
- IP67 ingress protection, physical on/off switch, UN38.3 and CE compliance
12V Drift Gen 2 range
Four capacities to suit the space and the load, all rated at 300A continuous discharge:
- 230Ah — 23 kg, 383 x 193 x 250 mm
- 300Ah — 29 kg, 383 x 193 x 250 mm, 4,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge
- 460Ah — 41 kg, 520 x 238 x 221 mm
- 628Ah — 53 kg, 635 x 244 x 220 mm
24V Drift Gen 2 range
Native 24V capacity for larger yachts and motorboats, rated at 300A continuous discharge and charged at 28.4V:
- 230Ah — 38 kg, 520 x 238 x 221 mm
- 300Ah — 52 kg, 635 x 244 x 220 mm
