The Frigomar SCU series of self-contained air conditioning units are up to 50% more efficient compared to old technology stop/start units. The compressor starts at a very slow speed with no peak current demand and accelerates quickly up to its max speed. As room temperature approaches the set point, the compressor slows down ensuring a constant comfortable temperature on board.
The range is a available in 230VAC, 115VAC, 24VDC and 48VDC.
New for this year is the 24,000 BTU 230VAC self-contained unit, the largest in the line-up whilst still being lightweight and compact and using just 400W in ECO mode.
For larger systems Frigomar offer a range of chilled water units ranging from 50,000 BTU to 180,000 BTU. These units are light weight, compact and like the SCU units are up to 50% more efficient compared to stop/start units.
