Hallberg-Rassy is a world-renowned boat builder based on the Island of Orust on the west coast of Sweden specialising in comfortable yachts suitable for longer voyages. The yard’s history starts in 1943 when each yacht was a one-off project and constructed from wood. As boat building techniques developed and were proven they were adopted by the yard leading to the series built, GRP yachts starting with the Rasmus 35 followed by the Hallberg-Rassy 41 and in 1977, the first of the yachts built with the trade mark blue line, the Hallberg-Rassy 38.
From 1989 all new Hallberg-Rassy designs have been drawn by the German Frers one of the most successful naval architects of our time. Today Hallberg-Rassy build a range of fast modern cruising yachts from 34ft to 69ft with an emphasis on speed, comfort and safety both on passage or in harbour.
