Island RIBs are manufacturers of Rigid Inflatable Boats from 6.8m to 10.0m. Described by Powerboat and RIB magazine as “The Best of British”, our RIBs are known for their outstanding seakeeping, predictable handling and uncompromising attention to detail.
All boatbuilding, engineering and assembly is carried out in-house on a single site at our purpose-built factory in Cowes, Isle of Wight, giving us complete control of your build from design through to delivery.
Every Island RIB is built to order and specified in collaboration with the owner to ensure that the RIB meets their particular requirements.
Our customers include the British Antarctic Survey and other UK government agencies as well as diverse range of commercial operators and leisure customers. Our RIBs operate in search and rescue, crew transfer, diver support, scientific research, and in crime prevention and detection. Island RIBs are the choice of leisure customers wanting a reliable, soft-riding and dry RIB that is capable of keeping them safe even in difficult conditions.
In addition to the manufacture and supply of new RIBs, we maintain long-standing relationships with our owners and have the facilities to provide training, servicing, support and maintenance throughout the lifetime of our vessels.
All Island RIBs models have been fully independently verified as compliant with the Recreational Craft Regulations, and all models are capable of MCA coding for commercial use if required.
