You may have seen over the last week or so that Kohler Energy has rebranded to Rehlko. This ties in with the purchase of Kohler Energy by newly formed entity Discovery Energy Holdings, a company backed by investors. Crucially, this will allow larger amounts of investment into the company, whilst the Kohler family maintain a shareholding and 2 seats on the board to offer their knowledge and stewardship moving forwards.
Their letter to customers reads:
We’re excited to share that Kohler Energy is now Rehlko!
Kohler Energy’s new name, like the organization, represents the resilience of its people, its products, its relationships, and their unwavering steadiness to push forward through every challenge and every change.
The Rehlko name carries a lot with it and was intentionally selected – it’s so much more than just a re-shuffling of letters. Rehlko pays respect to the company’s history, while intentionally evolving to represent its purpose to deliver the energy resilience that the world needs.
While Rehlko’s name and look are evolving, what has always made the company great will not change. Our operations with Rehlko remain business as usual. We are still your primary point of contact, and all our communication channels will remain the same. Rehlkowill continue to deliver the high level of quality, innovation, and service they always have, and you expect from them.
As of today, Rehlko is the new legacy we will carry forward, and we are proud to have a part to play in building the Rehlko story and the mark they want to leave on the world.
Translating the rather unnecessarily verbose letter above, we can see this as a genuine benefit, and we are looking forward to the future of the brand. The purchase included the manufacturing plants and R&D departments ensuring the good quality of the product continues, and the development of new products can continue, and indeed be expediated without a loss of momentum.
Over the next few months, you will start to notice the rebrand on products coming through, with the eventual change complete on all products and marketing by April 2027.
