Marvel at the Marina

Our purpose-built show marina hosted over 300 exceptional crafts during our 2025 show, offering a standout on-water showcase for visitors to explore.

With sea trials, on-water attractions, and clearly defined zones for different boat types, there was something for everyone to enjoy.


2025 Feature Boats

Thunder Child II

Thunder Child 2: This 22-meter high-speed vessel has conquered 6 global records and is built to withstand some of the toughest sea conditions on the planet!

Wetwheels

Wetwheels offered fun, accessible powerboat experiences for visitors with disabilities, providing a safe and inclusive environment. Daily trips are available on the marina.

Good Boy Vodka

The 52ft Outerlimits Good Boy Vodka, victorious in the Cowes–Torquay–Cowes 2025, is a showcase of cutting-edge marine engineering. Brought to the show by the British Powerboat Racing Club, it offered visitors a chance to explore the performance and innovation behind a record-breaking champion.

Clipper 70

This yacht debuted in the Clipper 2013-14 Race and is built for 40,000 nautical miles. Trips were available for visitors on the marina.

Falcon Multispark (On Land)

The British Power Boat Racing Club brought the Falcon Multispark to The Cockpit, presented by Powerboat & RIB Magazine. This 42ft Fountain, owned by Throttleman Dean Stoneman, has won the 2024 Cowes-Torquay-Cowes and is powered by two Mercury engines that can deliver up to 1600hp.

Landing Craft F8

Landing Craft F8 has been transformed to mark 25 years since the lifting of the ban on gay people serving in the UK Armed Forces. The first time in British history a war vessel has been wrapped in Pride colours! This boat has been supplied by PHQ.

High Speed Launch 102

High Speed Launch 102, commissioned in 1936, is the only surviving 100-class high-speed RAF air-sea rescue launch, capable of reaching 38 knots and covering 500 miles. She famously rescued dozens of aircrew during WWII, welcomed royalty on board, and was relaunched in 1996 by HRH The Queen Mother. This boat has been supplied by PHQ.

Bounty

Bounty is a replica of the 23ft open launch used in Captain Bligh’s 4,000-mile survival voyage after the 1789 mutiny. The boat was used in the hit Channel 4 series, Mutiny.

Yacht Good Dog

Yacht Good Dog is a medium sized sailing yacht which has spent the last seven years sailing 12,000 nautical miles around the coast of the British Isles. Mark Ashley-Miller and many of his regular crew showed visitors first hand everything there is to know about sailing in UK and Irish waters.

The Golden Globe

The essence of the Golden Globe Race remains unaltered from its inception in 1968. Sailors will face the same formidable challenges: navigating the world's oceans solo, non-stop, and without modern technology. Gunnar Sails Racing Team is supporting Gunnar Christensen's ambitious journey in the Golden Globe Race 2026. Having completed over five transatlantic crossings and navigated challenging waters, he'll be giving it his all.

Try a Boat

Try-a-Boat, delivered by FlexiSail and Rockley Watersports, was a visitor favourite in our 2025 show, giving visitors the chance to get out on the water and try a range of boating experiences, all included in ticket price.

Blue Funnel’s Ocean Scene Ferry

Visitors could enjoy a unique view of Southampton Docks, sailing past the historic Titanic departure point, seeing our floating marina, and admiring massive cruise ships. Full commentary and a bar for refreshments included.
