Southampton International Boat Show COVID-19 update

**UPDATED POST BAN ON LARGE GATHERINGS**

These are unprecedented times and the measures being put in place to deal with COVID-19 are fluid and changing daily. As a result, British Marine is adjusting its activities in line with Public Health England and World Health Organisation guidelines.

With the Southampton International Boat Show still six months away, British Marine is taking appropriate and proportionate steps based on the situation at this time. As it stands, the Association hopes to have the opportunity to host the 52nd edition of Britain’s biggest and most popular boat show in September 2020 and as such, is planning accordingly.

British Marine appreciates that people are understandably worried about the situation and wants to reassure everyone that the wellbeing of its visitors, exhibitors, and staff is its number one priority.

It will, of course, keep visitors and exhibitors up-to-date on the plans for this year’s Show as they develop.

Southampton Boatshow’s organisers are closely monitoring the situation with respect to the Covid-19 outbreak. For the latest information and guidance, visit British Marine’s dedicated Coronavirus webpage https://britishmarine.co.uk/coronavirus
