The new Dufour 360GL makes its debut at the Southampton Boat Show 2018

Stand M310-318

The Dufour 360 GL is the latest addition to the Grand Large range. She features a number of significant design evolutions, primarily to the coachroof, deck and cockpit, creating even cleaner space for sailing and on board living.

Dufour’s distinctive hull chines have been extended further forward on the 360 GL for added stability and reducing heeling motion. As well as a more comfortable sailing experience, her wider transom creates spacious living areas in the cockpit and below decks, with the option for two or three cabins on this 10.7m yacht.

On deck the Dufour 360 has a new coachroof design that creates a flush and clean look. The halyards and control lines run under the deck back from the mast. A new recessed spray hood coaming helps to deflect any water on deck and offers more practical, low windage stowage when the hood is not in use. To maximise the natural light into the owners (front) cabin, in addition to the deck hatch, a new front window is recessed into the coach roof ensuring a smooth deck profile.

The helm station on the 360 GL has benefited from a new approach, with modern, angled steering columns and discreet instrument consoles in front of each wheel for compass and control panels.  In keeping with all the Grand Large range, the primary rear winches are positioned in easy reach of the helm, which is especially helpful for manoeuvres whilst sailing short-handed.

The back of the cockpit has been enclosed providing additional seating and storage both for sailing and whilst at anchor. Dufour’s now trademark external galley, BBQ and sink can be fitted as an option, concealed under the rear seats. It is an inspired option for entertaining guests and catering on deck, with no one feeling they are ‘stuck below’ cooking and missing the fun.  A generous bathing platform also doubles as additional socialising space and landing platform for a tender.

Below decks the traditional companion way door has been replaced by an elegant swing door that integrates into the roof design.  As is custom in the modern Grand Large yachts, the cabin space is flooded with natural light.  A choice of Moabi, Oak and Teak finish and oak parquet flooring, together with soft touch grey interior side panels, add to the feel of a sophisticated and airy space.

The Dufour 360 GL is available with the option of a two or three cabin layout, with combined shower and heads. The cabin sofa berths can offer additional bunks space and the chart table drops down to extend the sofa berth.  A well appointed L-shaped galley offers generous and practical stowage and cupboard space.
