

With hundreds of boats to explore, on and in-the-water activities to try, live music to enjoy and a packed programme of family entertainment, talks and attractions, there’s something for every member of the family at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show.

No boating experience? No problem. The lake is the perfect place to try something new. Join Rockley Watersports and have a go at paddleboarding or kayaking, with all equipment provided and qualified instructors on hand to guide you. It’s a fun way to get out on the water, get active and learn a new skill at the show.
Or go diving in the Andark Dive Tank, where expert instructors will guide you every step of the way. All equipment is provided, with changing facilities, towels and full support on hand, so all you need to do is dive in.

From world-first adventures to practical advice and fascinating behind-the-scenes stories, the Boating Stage is packed with something for every visitor. Hear from legendary sailors like Sir Robin Knox-Johnston and Mike Golding OBE, disability advocate Geoff Holt MBE and many more as they share inspiring stories from across the marine world.

Hosted and organised by the Wooden Boatbuilders’ Trade Association, the Boat Building Academy and Women in Boatbuilding, the Wooden Boat Stage celebrates the remarkable heritage behind wooden boats. Watch live demonstrations including carving, steam bending and rope making, hear fascinating stories from expert boatbuilders, then step aboard a beautiful collection of wooden boats at the brand-new Wooden Boat Stage Afloat.

The Shipyard brings together live music, delicious food, refreshing drinks and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. On both Fridays and Saturdays the entertainment continues until 9pm, giving you even more time to enjoy the music.
You’ll hear performances from acts including:
Plus, don’t miss the HMS Collingwood Parade on 26 September, as Royal Navy personnel perform on stage before making their way through the Show, creating a fantastic spectacle with plenty of atmosphere along the waterfront.
There’s plenty of on and off water activities to keep your young adventurers entertained throughout the day. Plus, kids 15 and younger get in free!




Take a break from exploring the Show and enjoy a great choice of food and drink throughout the day. Discover street food inspired by flavours from around the world, alongside the return of the iconic Guinness Bar, a firm favourite for visitors looking to relax and soak up the atmosphere.
New for 2026, Dockside brings even more choice to the Show with a brand-new food hall, offering visitors another destination to grab a bite, enjoy a drink and recharge before heading back out to discover everything the Show has to offer.
