Visit an RNLI Lifeboat

Don’t miss the chance to get a unique insight into what it takes to save lives at sea on one of the RNLI’s lifeboats and hear first-hand from some of its courageous crew. The Shannon is the latest class of all-weather lifeboat to join the RNLI fleet. She’s the first modern lifeboat to be propelled by waterjets instead of traditional propellers, making her the most agile and manoeuvrable all-weather lifeboat yet. Back on land the RNLI stand will be well worth visiting for water safety tips, a hands-on experience with a wide variety of lifesaving equipment, or the chance to win an amazing lifesaving product in one of the daily giveaways.
