The Green Blue


The Green Blue is an environmental programme, created by the Royal Yachting Association and British Marine, here to inspire, inform and enable the recreational boating community to make more environmentally sustainable choices.

We look forward to welcoming you onto our stand at the show. Come and have a chat with the team and find out more about how you can make your boating, club, centre or boating business more sustainable.

What does our stand include?

  • Join others and take The Green Blue Boating Pledge to Respect, Protect and Enjoy our waters, wildlife and habitats.
  • Prize draws! Take the Boating Pledge to be entered into our prize draw to win a bundle of Washdown eco-friendly cleaning products.
  • Free expert guidance and resources on how to make your boating more sustainable.
  • Interactive activities to learn more about how you can help restore and protect sensitive seabed habitats like Seagrass when boating.
  • Take a look at  Seagrass and an Advanced eco-Mooring System that we have on display!
  • Also displaying sustainable products and devices for your boat e.g. Bilge and grey water filters, recycled rope and eco-friendly cleaning products.

Join our talks on the Foredeck Stage in Ocean Hall:

  • Fri 15th Sept – 12:30-13:00 – Saving our Solent Seagrass: Expert panel discussion by project leads on seagrass restoration and protection
  • Tue 19th Sept – 15:30-16:00 – Sustainable Boating: Boat owners discuss and share their experiences and tips on how to make your boating more sustainable.
