The show offers many exciting opportunities for all ages to explore watersports: Grab a paddleboard, kayak, dinghy or SUP at Get Afloat and give it a go under the guidance of our fun instructors, or feel the sea spray during trips across the Solent with one of Try A Boat’s high-speed RIB, motor yacht or cruise experiences. For a more sedate trip, join fellow passengers aboard the or, if you’d like to try your hand at diving, head to Try A Dive. Children go back in time when exploring the 1919 square-rigged Tall Ship Morgenster. The show has a water experience for everyone.
When it’s time to relax, grab a chair in the Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant and enjoy grandstand-style viewing of awe-inspiring, action-packed water stunts at the On The Water stage – be that Flyboarder James Prestwood lifting off or multi-world champion stuntmen performing freestyle jet ski acrobatics. If you’re a fan of artisan street food and live music, head to the Festival Green, one of 5 exciting new zones this year. For those who fancy top class restaurant cuisine, a visit to Kutis Indian Brasserie in the historic and majestic Royal Pier is a must.

If you’re a SO Card holder and are a resident of postcodes SO14 to SO19 then you can also access the show on either the 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th or 19th September and pay just £14 per adult. Over 66-year old’s who are a resident of postcodes SO14 to SO19 and have a SO Card get in FREE. Two children under 15 years get in FREE per adult ticket.

The health, safety and security of visitors is the number one priority during the show. A larger footprint at the show and COVID-19 safety measures approved by our local authority, mean that you can enjoy your time at the show safely and with minimal restrictions.
British Marine, the organiser of Southampton International Boat Show, has pledged to make the 2021 edition the most sustainable and environmentally friendly in its 52-year history. As part of our promise, we work closely with the charities The Ocean Youth Trust and Planet Patrol at the event, as well as supporting Southampton City Council in their work with Parent Support Link.
For anyone fascinated by the prospect of a career in the marine industry, visit us on Wednesday 15th September, for our Schools & Careers Day featuring a special programme of talks and Q&A session with industry experts. For our young visitors, we also have ‘Tales of Sea’ on board the Tall Ship Morgenster.
